Our journey in education began in 1954. With a legacy of 60 years of inspiring education, today the Chettinad Group supports 10 Government-aided schools through its CSR programme. We also are currently responsible for 7 private schools across Tamil Nadu. As of June 2019, 69,974 students have received quality education in our institutions.
From our first foray into the field of education in 1954, we have kept pace with changing times to provide students with exemplary mentoring they deserve. Our goal is to produce compassionate global citizens who will contribute towards a sustainable planet.

Shri. M.A.M.R. Muthiah is the Chairman & Managing Director of Chettinad Group and has spearheaded the growth and expansion of Chettinad Group, taking the glorious legacy of 60 years to greater heights of excellence.
Hailing from the illustrious industrialist Chettinad family, known for its philanthropy and magnanimity, Mr. M.A.M.R. Muthiah Ayyappan evolved as a dynamic industrialist with varied exposure to the field of education.
Chettinad Vidya Mandir is a CBSE school set in Coimbatore, Tamilnadu. To prepare children for the new millennium, we aim to develop individuals who are creative, collaborative, adaptable and resilient. Our humanistic approach empowers students to discover the joy of learning, embrace challenges and use earth’s resources mindfully.
Our program brings the best of curricular approaches to provide holistic teaching-learning experiences. Children learn through a journey of creativity, imagination and self-discovery, and develop as free human beings who bring purpose and direction to their lives.
